That life is happening to you and not the other way around? That's kinda how I feel right now. I appreciate your patience and understanding as I work my way out of this hole!
Long story short -- There just seems to be a confluence of "busy"ness in all aspects of my life...home (without my Blackberry for over a week, vehicles that need repairs to pass inspection, kids on antibiotics, parent teacher conferences coming up and taxes still need to be finished up), work (back from the week in DC, beginning of the spring term and several important projects), volunteer work (Girl Scouts and March of Dimes, including a huge conflict on June 6th I need to figure out a plan to address), and hobbies that I miss (like blogging, scrapbooking and, um, sleeping).
I am looking forward to some down time this weekend as my family celebrates the marriage of my sister and spending some more time with my youngest brother and his family (inlcuding my nephew) who are here from Austria. And I even expect to be relatively unplugged for the weekend festivities, and am looking forward to it! Just hoping the Easter Bunny makes visits to hotels.
I still have one big Giveaway to open up -- it will include the last 3 of the prizes I had planned for the 10 Days of Giveaways. Really, I just blew it when I went out of town and this will be my way to make it up to you all! Prior prize packs will all be sent out next week. I will be emailing the winners so they know when to be checking their mailboxes. It was so much fun to see your comments and advice. I hope you will continue to do so. It puts a smile on my face during a time when I really can use it. Thanks!
