$25 Blockbuster Gift Cards (5 x $5 each)
I've heard that in tough economic times more people seem to watch movies, and I believe it. We all need to give ourselves a vacation from reality every once in a while, right? Now, the last time I saw a movie not aimed at the kid or tween market was a long, long time ago (Knocked Up)...but we do like to rent DVDs. Being the bargain shopper that you know and love, I usually find a free code for the RedBox machine and use that to help stretch our entertainment budget.
Today's giveaway will allow you to enjoy a night in with your family and/or friends. BYOP - Bring Your Own Popcorn!THE PRIZE: Five $5 Blockbuster Gift Cards (Total Value = $25). These cards are from a past Christmas season and are shaped like gift tags. They are still in the original packaging, but I will verify the value by plugging the numbers into the Blockbuster web site before shipping them off to the winner. I had put them aside when we moved from VT to NH, and forgot about them. There is no Blockbuster in my town, so I'd like to pass them along to someone who could use them!
WAYS TO ENTER (one or more, it's totally up to you)...Please be sure that you have a blog URL, twitter username, Facebook profile link, or email address listed in each entry! I need to be able to track down the winner. Thanks! Please remember to leave separate comments for each entry you qualify for.

I have a coupon folder thing in my diaper bag. I cut coupons for lots of things and keep them in the bag for when we want to do something. Buying a membership for the zoo is fantastic. I have 1 zoo here, but have 2 more 1.5 away and then 2 more close to my parents (4hrs away). We get into the other zoos for free.
I use coupons for everything. From bowling, to movie rentals to just about everything. My little guy even knows if he is going to ask for something, ask if there is a coupon!! Thanks for the giveaway!
To save money, schedule movie time at each other's house, share what movies you rent or buy so that others can save on the cost. Bring a sack lunch and make a picnic in the TV room floor.
We like to have potlucks where everybody brings a different dish. And a favorite CD.

* 1/4 cup cheddar cheese powder, plus 1 tablespoon
* 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
* 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
* 4 cups popped popcorn
* Salt and pepper
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the butter, cheddar cheese powder, mustard powder, cayenne pepper and the popcorn. Season with salt and pepper, to taste and toss to combine. Serve immediately.

We don't attend movie theaters even thou we love movies. We wait to they come out on dvd. That saves money as a rental is redbox 1.07 for 4 of us versus 40.00 to 48.00 at theater. We try to eat out during the lunch time which saves compared to the dinner time prices. We use coupons. We find entertainment which is free to almost free like the beach, walks, window shopping. We wait till off season for attractions which means lower prices.
Thank you

If you go to the movies, don't buy food at the theatre. It is way to expensive. Eat before or after the movie.
Also, look for deals. Sometimes, there is a discount on a certain day of the week for things like bowling or mini golf.
Thanks
