Love. Love. Love the Simple Scrapbooks mindset. Always have, always will. Was truly saddened to see the recent notice about the magazine ceasing publication. You can read about it here. The last one to be published is the May/June 2009 issue.Such talented scrapbookers, writers, and artists. I'll miss you! I am happy to see that some of the Simple Scrapbooks talent and features will be included in future Creating Keepsakes magazines.
As I have mentioned before, I think the scrapbooking world is changing. I'm still undecided about how I think this will all sugar out.
What do you think: Is paper scrapbooking dead? Has video killed the radio star -- er, has the web replaced hard copy magazines, newsletters and books for sharing samples and industry news? Will I be forced to take trashy celebrity gossip magazines when I travel instead of catching up on my scrapbook magazines?
