Happy Holidays...from our family to yours!

I hope you all are enjoying your holidays as much as our crew is!  We have more celebrating to do, but here's an update of our family holiday traditions checklist:

Trimmed the tree -- check!

 

Went on the Polar Express train ride -- check! 

  

Saw Santa -- check!

 

Visited the LaSallette Shrine Holiday Lights display -- check!

 

Let the kids stay up past normal bedtimes to watch holiday programs on TV -- check!

Go (early) nightime sledding down the big hill next to LaSallette before dinner on Christmas Eve -- check!

Track Santa's trip online, shop in the "mommy store" for sibling gifts, sprinkle reindeer food in the yard, leave out notes to Santa with milk & cookies, leave the holiday lights on for Santa -- check!

Wait for 7 AM to wake up Mom & Dad for presents! -- check (although it was before that when the kids first got up, they were in our room by 6:55 AM after checking out the scene...)  Zach looks sad in the photos because I told him not to get into his stocking yet!  :)

Try to open presents without making too much of a mess (yeah right, who are we kidding!) -- check!

 

Look excited and happy to get such awesome gifts -- check!

And finally, play with your new toys all day until you just fall asleep happy -- check!
