Reflection is good for the soul

I was honored last fall to be a panelist at the Dartmouth College Conference: Celebrating 35 Years of Women at Dartmouth. I was the self-proclaimed "baby" of the group (a '97) in a group of real trailblazers who were among the first women at the College. But what struck me is that no matter our ages or our stages in life, we still were able to relate our stories back to some common themes.

Life is full of turning points, and I'm at one now. I got an alumni relations email about the west coast women at Dartmouth celebration, and that reminded me that our panel was selected to be recorded and is now archived, and so it was a good time to listen to it and reflect on my comments and those of my new friends. I invite you to listen to it as well (see below), although be advised that it may be best downloaded to your iPod for a workout session or commute, this is no sound bite but a full recording of the session. What do you think? How do you reflect and refocus?
