Menu Plan for the Week of 4.7.08

It's that time again...Menu Plan Monday over at I'm an Organizing Junkie. First a quick report about last week's plan -- The "best ever chicken" was TOTALLY YUMMY. April Fools Day dessert (I went with the "grilled cheese") was a hit, although they figured out it was a dessert and my cheese was a little too orange. We didn't end up having the Turkey Meal night for some reason, so it is making a repeat visit in this week's plan. Again, having a plan, even when we made adjustments resulted in less spending (too many trips to the store or getting take out) and a better meal time all around.

For this week:

Monday -- NCAA Championship Game Night -- "snack" type foods, including Pepperoni Pizza Dip & tortilla chips, mini corn dogs, cheese breadsticks & ranch dressing, baked potato bar (cheese, broccoli, bacon, sour cream)...GO KANSAS!

Tuesday -- Slow Cooker Turkey Breast, extra potatoes from Monday night, gravy, corn, stuffing & cranberry sauce

Wednesday -- Taco night (chicken & beef, soft and crunchy) + veggies

Thursday -- Pasta with meatballs, salad, garlic bread

Friday -- Pepperoni Bread or leftover buffet

Saturday -- Take Out

Sunday -- Beef or Pork Roast Dinner (?)

What do you think? What night can I expect you to show up for dinner? LOL Have a great week!

Hi! Thanks for your comment.

Creamy Lemon Chicken is really easy. I'll post it on my blog! It's a hit here, unless I add too much pepper! I like spicy.
